Age of Wonders 4 is getting its first major update since its official launch on May 2nd, and it's a big one. The patch notes for the new update come in with a wealth of new features, fixes, and gameplay changes - all designed to make the game even better.

Players will be able to customize their leaders even further with five new leader traits and four new leader abilities. You can now choose from 'Strategist', 'Battle Master', 'Arcane Caster', 'Gatherer', and 'Diplomat' traits that offer special bonuses and allow you to specialize your playstyle even more. The four new leader abilities are 'Chaos Magic', 'Summon Elemental', 'Farsight' and 'Empower Hero'. These abilities are powerful enough to turn the tide of battle - so use them wisely!
